The Richness Of His Mercies

Psa 141:1-4 KJV
(1)  A Psalm of David. LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
(2)  Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
(3)  Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
(4)  Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

Such a beautiful Psalm showing David's heart. Have you ever thought about what the "Mercies" of David are when God said that we could have them?

Isa 55:3 KJV
(3)  Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Ohhhhhh the richness of His mercies toward His people who humble themselves in His sight!

Jas 4:6-10 KJV
(6)  But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
(7)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and He will flee from you.
(8)  Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
(9)  Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
(10)  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.
