Bible Verse Of The Day - The Power Of A Spoken Word

Proverbs 18:21  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Have you ever thought about the words you are saying? There are many verses in the Bible that refer to the spoken words of the tongue and what it produces when they are released. As an example of the power of words our Heavenly Father created the very galaxies with His spoken Word and Jesus cursed the fig tree with the words He spoke unto it. When we look at Proverbs 18:21 we can see both sides, death and life, they operate in the power of the tongue.  I've heard it said and taught that the believer carries more authority with their tongue than an unbeliever and I have to agree 100% with that because when we are born again we have a new realm of authority that Jesus Christ purchased for us at the cross.

Perhaps you may be going throughout the day worrying about people cursing you with their words and unfortunately many times it is a born again Holy Spirit filled Christian that is releasing the ill words in judgment against another. It doesn't matter who speaks it, we still use the Word of the LORD to combat against it. Wake up in the mornings and quote Isa 54:17  "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the LORD."

My wife and I believe in speaking positive confessions during our prayer time and throughout the day from the Holy Scripture. We encourage you to make it your choice too by edifying yourself and others with such Scriptures like Phil 4:13 "I can do ALL things through Christ which strengthens me." Put your name in there and your friends when you quote it. Say it with the joy and authority that Jesus already gave you! Have a wonderful and extravagantly blessed day! - Gary

Bible Verse Of The Day - 3 Steps To Success

Blessings to you. Have you ever been in a situation where you just didn't know what was going on and didn't know how God was going to get something done? Perhaps you are there right now. The answer is to just trust in Him! Don't be anxious for anything, that only causes harm, see Psalm 37:1-8

Listed below are two of my favorite verses I quote frequently. If you look at them you will see it is a 3 step process to get the result of the LORD'S direction for your life in a situation.

Pro 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Pro 3:6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Notice the first part... "TRUST" with "ALL" your heart. It begins right there. They who come to God must believe that He is... Heb 11:6... The second step is not to lean unto your own understanding. Your going to have to get your eyes off of the circumstance and keep them on God's Word. You may not understand how God is going to get something done but you don't have to know that part to believe that He already has done it in response according to your faith. The third part of the step to success is to acknowledge God in "ALL" your ways. I believe that means to take your every decision to God and run it through the filter of His Word to see what He says about it. Prayer and Word time are extremely important keys to making Biblical sound decisions in this life. We don't have time to waste on bad decisions based upon flesh, fear, anxiety and the like. Therefore we need to acknowledge God in "ALL" of our ways.

When we have done the first three parts then the fourth part is God's to do. His answer to you is that He "SHALL" direct your paths. He didn't say that He might but that He shall. Amen.

If you are being faced with a circumstance and you can't seem to understand how it's going to work out, then stop trying to figure it out. You begin to do your part and God will do His. It's as simple as 1, 2, 3.... Extravagant blessings to you! - Gary

Bible Verse Of The Day - Unity Of The Faith

“The Unity Of The Faith” - Eph 4:13

What is so important about this unity of the faith that Paul being led by the Holy Spirit wrote it down? There are many things that need to take place in the body of Christ and most certainly will come to pass as He is faithful to complete the work that He has started in us until the day of redemption. One of the works that will be completed is the unity of the faith between the brethren of the Lord. We as the Church body must function in unity of the faith. Paul didn’t say to unify in doctrine, but to unify in the faith so that we wouldn’t be blown away with every wind of doctrine that is out there. If we back up to read Eph 4:11-12 then we begin to see that the five fold ministry gifts were given for the purpose of unifying the Church in the faith. What faith? The faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lets dig deeper and look at how we are to begin to walk in this unity. When the children of God who operate in the five fold ministry gifts of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastors and teachers start speaking with the love of God and stop fighting about whether or not speaking in tongues is appropriate, or baptism is needful for salvation, or musical instruments in the church should be allowed or not, then we will begin to see the great move of God like we’ve never saw before in the history of the church. The church when it began started with unity between the brethren, as it is written in Acts 2:44. Nobody refused to share something with their brethren, they considered all they had was each others as well.

I believe it does not please our Father in Heaven for pastors to stand in the pulpit and speak ill of other churches, prophets, etc.,. Love works no ill to his neighbor. This is not building up and edifying the body of Christ, but rather causes division and is exact opposite of unifying in the faith. There is a time to call sin as it is… sin and there is also a time for open rebuke. All this must be done with the love of God. If it is done without the love of God it will fail and will cause the divisions. We each walk on a different level of knowing the Lord and we all continue to grow into His fullness of His nature. Do you know why Peter had seen so many miracles even of people being healed within his perimeter? He was operating in the love of God. Peter didn’t talk about himself, but preached the gospel of the kingdom. I believe we will experience days of Heaven on the earth in these last days and it is dependent upon our walk with the Lord… Deut 11:21-22. When you read that passage in Deuteronomy you will see that the days of Heaven on the earth is dependent upon our walk with the Lord.

There is no greater commandment than that of the love commandment. All the law of the prophets hang on the first two commandments. Prophecy isn’t a prophecy from the Lord if it’s not full of His love. Prophecy only edifies the body of Christ, it never divides, nor has any selfish ambition behind it. I’m talking about this love walk because it is so key to walking with the unity of faith between the brethren. Eph 4:16 says that all the parts of His body must work together for the purpose of edifying itself in love. If you are bad mouthing everybody in the body of Christ, then don’t expect your faith to work in the fullness that God intended for it to work. Faith works by love, not by how much you believe, not by how much you speak positive, though these are the ingredients of faith, the whole thing that makes it run is His love. Think of it this way. Its like having a car engine that has all the parts together to make a super running machine. However it can’t run and operate unless it has the fuel to supply the engine. What fuels our faith? Love.

Everyday we need to walk in perfect love. We need to measure up to His commandments and do them. Lets unify in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ and what He done for us at the cross and work together until we come into His fullness of what He has for us. Gary.

Bible Verse Of The Day - What About Me?

What do you do when you give your all to something for the glory of the LORD and then you are not even noticed or recognized for what you’ve done? What if you’ve served others and still yet they refuse to acknowledge your acts of compassion and kindness? Here is what you do and it’s found in Col 3:23; “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” This is the real test in our being a servant. If you’re not walking in the Spirit your flesh will want to rise up and take a stand to let all those people know about what you’ve done and you could get into a cage of bitterness that will cost you something. It will you cost you the blessings of your love walk!

The Lord taught me this lesson of doing all things unto Him several years ago. I was working in a service shop for RV repairs. It was during lunch that I would sometimes have to clean the table in the shop area because it was so dirty and I would not eat off of it. Then, the one day I didn’t clean off the table, the others complained to me that it wasn’t clean! Oh my, the flesh rose up in me and I laid into them with these words, they went something like this: “How dare you complain about this table being dirty! You all have not cleaned it up hardly yourselves and when it has not been cleaned you take it out on me, but you never gave thanks or noticed me for when I cleaned it!” After I said that as I was eating the Holy Spirit began to speak to me about Col 3:23. He said, “If you would’ve been doing this cleaning the table as unto the Lord, you would of not taken an offense to their lack of attention to your work.” That rang clear and I repented to them for raising my voice and being angered, and I repented to the Father as well.

That was a difficult lesson to learn and it is one that I have not forgotten and I’m still applying to my life. We should also keep in mind that everything we do should be for His glory. If we desire the attention, then we have received the glory for it, and that is unrighteous before the Lord. John 7:18 explains that very well. The work of the Holy Spirit will always draw attention unto the Father and exalt His name, not ours! We serve a jealous God and He desires our attention as He created us to worship Him in everything we do so that He receives the glory. No matter what work you do, whether it is within the church body, prayer intercessor, worship leader, pastor or even at the work place, make sure you do it heartily as to the Lord and then you’ll know that the Father has seen what you are doing and He will reward you openly. One last thought, don’t go around trying to make a name for yourself just so others can hear about you. Seek His glory! Not yours! Matt 6:33 -- Be blessed. Gary.

Bible Verse Of The Day - F.A.I.T.H.

F.A.I.T.H. - Fully Assured In Trusting Him

One day I was sitting and just thinking on something that one of my mentors in worship leading had taught me. He was teaching how Paul was fully persuaded in the Lord and was beyond any doubt. As I was thinking on that these words came to me. Fully Assured In Trusting Him. That is what faith really is! That phrase hit me real strong and I always attempt to think on it when I find myself being tempted with doubt and worry. I just have to rise up and say “NO! I am Fully Assured In Trusting Him“. He is faithful in what He has promised and He will do it when I stand on His Word and get in line with it!

One thing is for certain you are not going to be fully assured or persuaded He can do anything if you are not allowing His Word to take deep root in you. Jesus warned us against receiving the Word on bad ground and how if we do not have our roots deep in good soil that we would waiver when persecutions would arise. Mark 4:16-19 You’re going to hae to check your heart and make sure that it is ready to receive. Plow up your fallow ground Hosea 10:12 and get tough on yourselves. This is not the time to be sluggish with receiving the Word. We must redeem the time because the days are evil. Eph 5:16

Paul said let each on examine their own selves to see if they are in the faith. II Cor 13:5 If we are not in faith then we are not able to please Him Heb 11:6 and we are deceiving our own selves because we are not doing what His Word commands us to do. James 1:22 James had written about this kind of problem with doubting and it was a heart problem. James 4:8 He said to purify your hearts you double minded. If you want to get your mind thinking right then it needs to start in the heart. It’s the central command station for the whole body, soul and spirit. I’m not talking about the physical heart either. I’m talking about the heart spiritually. Be on guard with your heart. Guard it with all diligence. For out of it spring the issues of life! Prov 4:23 If you do this, you will be Fully Assured In Trusting Him!

Extravagant blessings to you from the Holy Spirit!

Bible Verse Of The Day - Watch Your Mouth

Watch Your Mouth & Attitude

Death and Life are in the power of the tongue. Prov 18:21 I believe the tongue is a creative power. James 3:5 It is how our Father God Almighty formed all creation as He spoke it into existence. Everything that we speak must be lining up with the Word of God. That is what the scripture tells us in Phil 1:27 . What Paul is saying here is to watch (Guard) our actions of what we speak and do. You know the saying “What would Jesus do?” is a question we should ask at every moment before we say or take action over something. People are watching your every move and especially those who need the Gospel message preached to them, whether by your action or words. We should glorify our Father in Heaven with all of our deeds done. It is not impossible to attain the level of a perfect (mature) place in our walk with the Lord. For it is the will of God for us to come into His fullness of knowledge and love. But you’re not going to get there if you are not guarding your mouth. David had said to the Lord to set a guard over his lips that he might not sin against Him. Psalm 141:3

Before we even open our mouths we must process what we are going to speak. In other words don’t let your natural brain think and act for you. You’ll need to allow the Holy Spirit to have full control over every area. Slow down and listen for His peaceful words. Speak what he gives you to speak and you’ll begin to see victory over what your flesh or natural mind would want to say. Jesus represented this action very well as he only did what He saw and heard the Father doing. John 8:28-29 He was walking in this flesh we live in and still yet He was in direct relationship with His Father and was able to know what He should say or do. Maturity comes in us when we allow the Holy Spirit to search out our hearts and see if there is any wicked way within us and lead us to life everlasting. Psalm 139:23

Extravagant blessings to you from the Holy Spirit!

Bible Verse Of The Day - Prayer

Extreme blessings to you this day in the Almighty Name of Yeshua the Lord Jesus!

Recently during a conversation with somebody we was told they believed prayer was like playing the lottery, because sometimes God answered and sometimes He did not....it was the ol' poor is me attitude and self pity speaking through them...we responded.. NO WAY! God hears and answers the prayers of His people when prayed according to His will and Word! --- 1Jn 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: (15)And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. ---- and also Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. --- AMEN! ---

Bible Verse Of The Day - The Authority Giver

Extreme blessings to you this day in the Almighty Name of Yeshua the Lord Jesus! Just wanted to share a quick thought with you about where our rejoicing should be directed to. When the seventy returned they were full of joy and rejoiced that the even the devils were subject unto them through His name. Luke 10:17 One day I was on the way to the work place and I was rejoicing that I had the authority in the name of Jesus over satan and all of his works. I was letting the devil know about it too! Then when I arrived at work, I opened the Bible up and my eyes saw this scripture. Luke 10:20 The Holy Spirit was correcting me about where my rejoicing should be.
Like the disciples, my focus was off on the real reason to be rejoicing. I should of been rejoicing for my salvation and my name being written in Heaven! I think Jesus was teaching us here to rejoice in the Authority Giver and not in the authority given! It’s a way of staying humble and not being lifted up with pride before our Father in Heaven. Doing this allows us to keep our focus on who the authority is coming from and realizing that we have been given this authority by His grace (God’s Riches At Christ Expense). We give our rejoicing to Him and for what He has done. Give Him the glory! Psalm 115:1 Not unto us O LORD But unto You we give the glory! Have a blessed day! Gary.

Bible Verse Of The Day - REJOICE!!!

Extreme blessings to you this day in the Almighty Name of Yeshua the Lord Jesus!  Be blessed! His Mercies are new every morning and He daily loads us with benefits! The Lord God YAHWEH is good and He loves you as a dear child!

The verse He has on my heart today is this: Philippians 4:6-8

Let's take this in very slowly and make sure we meditate on each word to receive all that it is worth . Extremely valuable and life changing!

Philippians 4:6-8 KJV

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God,which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Beloved Children of YAH .....it’s a time for repentance and cleansing ...ask the Lord Jesus to clean you and give you His thoughts.....we see here that we are not to worry at all about anything.....WOW!.... we are to take all things to the Lord in prayer...and then be thankful...making our requests to Him....then His peace will come as we sincerely trust Him with all,  knowing that He hears us and then we are to give Him thanks ...well that’s faith right there....we release it, give it away to Him to hear, carry and take action on. We then take our peace  from Him... His peace that is far beyond ours ....and He keeps our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus...then we are to consistently keep our minds fixed on the true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good news, the virtues, and the praises that will please Holy Father. Take your peace Children of God, take your joy and rejoice in Him without worries! Remember ...don’t worry, be happy it truly is your choice. Be so extravagantly blessed...you are loved! Rhonda.

Bible Verse Of The Day - Daily Benefits

Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Psa 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psa 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Psa 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

When you wake up in the morning do you thank God for the day? Do you say good morning to your loving Holy Father? He loves to hear you say that! He also loves to let you know of the benefits He provides for you as you walk in obedience to His Word. Make a set decision every day to agree with what His Word says for your life. Don't listen to the accuser of the brethren, that is the devil. Why listen to him? He has nothing good to say at all and if he says anything it is a lie. Start your day with loving the Lord Jesus and declaring His promises that are yes and amen in Him. When you wake up remember His benefits! He daily loads you with them if you are willing to receive them. Be blessed. Gary.

Bible Verse Of The Day - All Your Soul!

Psa 103:1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

King David was a man who knew how to stir himself up and encourage himself in the LORD. He understood the importance of speaking to yourself out loud with words of edification, comfort, hope and faith. Not only does he begin Psalm 103 this way but we find the other example in 1 Sa Ch 30 vs 6

1Sa 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

If you feel the temptation to be discouraged or downhearted because of a circumstance, don't be! Speak to your soul and command it to bless the LORD with EVERYTHING that is inside of you. ALL means ALL. Give it everything you got for His Glory! Stir yourself up in the LORD! For His joy is your strength! Your key to prospering and perfect health lies in the connection to your soul blessing and praising the LORD. 3Jn 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Don't wait around. Just start doing it. Dig in the Word of GOD and take it in. Fill yourself up with faith in Him and begin to bless His Holy Name! Be blessed! Gary.

Bible Verse Of The Day - Daily Encouragement

Good Day everyone! Have a wonderful weekend....be blessed beyond measure by all the good and perfect gifts and blessings from the Holy Father for you. Well the verse I believe that is on my heart to share with you today is this...

Mat 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Mat 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Mat 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Mat 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Mat 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Mat 6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Mat 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Really seriously and actively pursue seeking FIRST the Kingdom of our God YAHWEH and His Righteousness. The things needed and wanted that the Lord Yeshua desires to give to you will then be added because He then knows that the THINGS are not your FIRST desire or love ....watch your motives Beloved Children make them pure and make sure you are living in His divine order with Him as your First Love. Give Him all your heart, mind, soul and strength... seek to obey and serve Him with cheerful hearts and attitudes ... seek to be righteous in all things He loves you so very very much and wants to bless you. He wants to have close Holy Father and Child relationship with you.

Good and perfect blessings galore! You are loved...

Bible Verse Of The Day - Think On These Things

So what are you thinking about right now? What do you find yourself thinking on through out the day? You need to fill up your heart with good thoughts and allow Him to put a new song in your mouth. Psalm 40:3 Paul of all people wrote a letter of rejoicing, the book of Philippians, when he was in prison. Think about that for a moment. Paul in prison, chained up in some of the worst conditions but he refused to complain! It’s no wonder he had a soul winning ministry and was walking around casting out demons and healing the sick! He had an attitude of being submitted to God in all that he did. You know Psalm 40:3 gives us an insight to what happens when we begin to declare with our mouths His glory and His works in our lives. It will set others free as they will see and fear Him for what He has delivered us from. You’ll begin to have the anointing flowing through you like never before!

Thinking on good things is a habit you must get in to doing. It’s going to take some work, and it might be hard at times not to complain. Especially when you’re doing work around the house and you might not feel appreciated for what you do or when you are stuck in a traffic jam with people honking their horns in anger. What will you do? Will you join them by raising your fist to the air also? You better not! You better have these verses in Phil 4:8 written on your heart, so that out of the abundance of your heart you’ll just praise your way through an ugly situation because you’re refusing to complain!

Don’t let the burdens of this life weigh you down. Remember what it was like to be a child? You were carefree! Jesus said unless you become as like on of these children you will not inherit the kingdom of Heaven. Matt 18:3 Say this out loud, “I don’t have a care in this world! My Father cares for me and I cast all of my cares upon Him because He cares for me!” 1Peter 5:7 Now if you believe what you just said then you’ll have a whole new outlook on life and you’ll live in the victory that Jesus already paid in full just for you. Make the determination today to rejoice always in the Lord and again rejoice! Phil 4:4 Hallelujah!
